The Agricultural Service Board (ASB) is made up of County Council. Together with the Agricultural Fieldman, they address the current local issues affecting agricultural production. They develop policies and implement programs for the benefit of farmers and the environment. The results of these programs and related services are summarized in an Annual Report, which is published in the County Commentator. When proactive programs are not effective, enforcement of four provincial acts can be implemented. More information on ag. service boards in Alberta can be found at the Ag Service Board Home Page.
