The North Forty Mile Regional Waste Management Services Commission services the northern part of the County of Forty Mile No. 8 to provide recycling and waste transfer services. Inquiries should be directed to the landfill office at (403)545-2618.  North Forty recently joined E-Waste and a trailer will soon be available for electronics recycling.

The landfill is a Class 1 facility suitable for disposal of hydrocarbon contaminated soils.  For more information, please call Vern Beck at (403)545-2853.

There is a $30 charge for draining Freon if required.
