Forty Mile Region Recreational Needs Assessment Survey
The Forty Mile Region Seeks Citizen Input on Recreation Needs
Over the month, the Forty Mile Region (Town of Bow Island, Village of Foremost and the County of Forty Mile) wants residents’ feedback as part of the Recreation Needs Assessment process, guiding how programs and services are offered and directs investment in recreational facilities. The needs assessment is being conducted by Quantum Recreation and in collaboration with the Region.
“The process will have many community engagement opportunities, including a phone survey, online survey and discussion with our volunteer and community groups. This is a rare opportunity for people to express their opinions, and we hope everyone in the Region takes time to complete the survey online.”. – County of Forty Mile, Town of Bow Island, Village of Foremost
The Recreation Needs Survey phone survey and an online survey: https://rebrand.ly/FortyMileRegion, will be from February 17 - March 1. If you receive a phone call regarding the survey in the next few weeks, please take the ten minutes to provide feedback on the Region's recreation. Hard copies of the survey can also be picked up from the Forty Mile County Office or Town of Bow Island office or downloaded and printed from https://rebrand.ly/FortyMileRegion. Please submit completed paper surveys to the Forty Mile County Office (303 Main Street Foremost) by March 1 or email it to [email protected] if in paper form.
The public engagement stage of the Recreation Needs Assessment will end on March 5. The Draft Needs Assessment will be presented online and in-person the week of March 15. The Needs Assessment will be presented to the Regions’ Councils at the end of March.
